Shelley Lobell, M.Ed.  Executive Director

Shelley Lobell founded Erikson School in 1980 and incorporated Learning Services of Northern California as a non-profit agency in 1981.  She has served of Executive Director since that time.  After completing undergraduate studies at San Francisco State University, Shelley received her Masters of Education in Special Education from Boston University.  She holds California credentials in Learning Handicapped, Severely Handicapped, and Elementary Education.  As Executive Director, Shelley provides the vision, leadership, programmatic, and financial insight for the agency and its programs.

Gregory Trevigne, MA School Principal

Gregory Trevigne has been employed by Learning Services since 1981.  He started as a teacher, moving up to Educational Therapist, and then to School Principal in 1985.  Greg received a Bachelors of Arts at San Francisco State University, and a Secondary Teaching Credential at University of California at Berkeley.  He received his Masters of Art in Education and Learning Handicapped Credential at San Francisco State University, and he is also certified as a Handle With Care instructor.  As Principal of Erikson School, Greg provides the program development, day-to-day implementation, and oversight of the school.

Vanessa Brown Administrative Director

Vanessa Brown was first employed by Learning Services in 1983 as the agency's secretary.  Currently serving as Administrative Director, she is responsible for day-to-day administrative and financial operations.  She attended Mary Mount Manhattan College and San Francisco State University.  She has provided workshops on Empowering Parents of Special Needs Children; Working with Deaf Children with Special Needs; and Empowering Women of Color.
